Like many people who become therapists, I went into the field because I experienced the power of therapy first hand. I also kept having the experience of all kinds of people coming up to me telling me their life stories (stranger or not!) I mostly grew up in NC (moved here at the start of 4th grade). I went to school in Ohio, and have been back in the Tarheel state ever since. When I'm not therapizing, you'll most likely find me flocked by my 2 kiddos, hanging out with my husband, listening to an audiobook, or watching a true crime show.
I am licensed in both NC and CA and enjoy working with adult individuals with these characteristics/symptoms/diagnoses and more:
Maybe you need coping skills, assistance in processing complex emotions, or just want to understand yourself more. Regardless, your needs and concerns are valid.
Together, we can...
I consider myself to be eclectic in approach and practice. I am first and foremost a person-centered therapist, and believe in the power of self discovery and acceptance.
I was trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches from the beginning, and I still rely on this heavily.
I also resonate with other approaches including: Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectal and Behavior Therapy (DBT), existential therapy, strength-based therapy, and psychoeducation.
While I hold a Theology degree, I am not a faith-based counselor in a traditional sense. My focus is more on spirituality, shame, identity, and religious trauma.

With 13 years of experience, I provide a partnership to not give you advice, but to help you find the answers within yourself.
Although familiar with religious trauma already, I am currently working toward completing a certification in religious trauma from the Global Center for Religious Research. I also prioritize continuing education in neurodivergency.
Whether you're new to therapy or a seasoned "frequent flier," you should commend yourself for reaching out for support.
